Introduction to Using Microsoft Project

You know the basic project management tools but you want to find an efficient way to develop task lists, Gantt charts, timelines and resource allocation.  This introductory-basic level workshop will introduce you to the Microsoft Project software.

You will learn how to:

  • Enter task information, durations and milestones
  • Organize information in a Work Breakdown Structure
  • Create and revise a Gantt Chart
  • View projects in Gantt, PERT, and Task Sheet views
  • Other tips on printing, viewing and functions

This is a hands-on workshop held in a computer lab.  Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows are required.  Attending Project Management Essentials for Small Business course or equivalent is recommended.
